...SLIGHT RISK OF FIRE DANGER...

HIGH PRESSURE IS EXPECTED TO DEVELOP OVER THE AZ/NM BORDER AND WILL QUICKLY MOVE OUT OF THE REGION AS A COLD FRONT DIPS DOWN OUT OF THE ROCKIES. FURTHER TO THE EAST A DRYLINE IS EXPECTED TO DEVELOP ACROSS S CENTRAL OKLAHOMA EXTENDING DOWN INTO TEXAS. AS THIS DOES...RH VALUES ARE EXPECTED TO DIP DOWN INTO THE TEENS...WITH A FEW AREAS NEAR 20%. WINDS SHOULD VEER TO THE SOUTH -- AND SHOULD REMAIN AROUND 15-20 MPH ACROSS THE REGION. THE OVERALL AVAILABILITY FOR DRY FUELS WILL LIKELY AGGRAVATE THE FIRE RISK AND WILL ALLOW FOR SOME FIRE DANGER FROM TX INTO NEW MEXICO. ACROSS NEW MEXICO INTO COLORADO -- A FEW SCATTERED STORMS SHOULD DEVELOP IN THE HIGHER TERRAIN, AND GENERALLY SHOULD SEE DRY THUNDERSTORMS GIVEN LOWER PWAT VALUES. DUE TO THE DRY THUNDERSTORMS -- NEW FIRES COULD START.
